I write personal essays about memory, identity, work, animals, grief, attention, and the evidence a life leaves behind.
Most of my essays begin with something concrete: a photograph, a place, an object, a working ritual, or a moment I cannot stop thinking about. From there, I follow the larger story and try to understand what the experience was asking me to notice.
I publish personal essays on Substack while developing longer documentary and book projects.
